• Centre for Cities provides economic information on their website supports the growth of economies in cities by producing rigorous, evidence-based research within five main drivers of economic growth. Compare the economic performance of 64 of the UK's largest cities and towns (including York).
• The Department for Works and Pensions website (DWP) collects and publishes official statistics on employment programmes, household income, benefits, pensions and other areas the department is responsible for.
• The NOMIS website is a service provided by the Office for National Statistics to provide free access to the most detailed and up-to-date UK labour market statistics.

• The Department for Education website (DfE) collects and publishes official statistics about schools, children and young people. The Department for Education website publishes school performance tables which allow you to view details about school performance, characteristics, workforce, finance and Ofsted inspection outcomes.

Health

• Public Health England website provides many high quality data, analysis tools and resources for public health professionals. Their data and knowledge gateway provides direct access to these resources.
• The Department of Health also published annual public health profiles for each local authority area on their website
